little munchkin

well i am due for a post but don't have too much to say. bella came down with a fever (and no other symptoms!!) this past sunday. she was so pitiful. monday morning she woke up with a yucky cough so we stayed home and watched a lot of movies/tv. she still had a fever most of monday but by tuesday she was mostly herself again. i had to keep her out of school tuesday for the 24 hour rule and then she went back today. she's still coughing and still a little slower than normal but thankfully, no fever and no sign of any other family members catching it. tomorrow i go to her school for "muffins for mommies" which should be quite the treat!

hoping to get the baby announcements out by the end of the week. we have a lot to look forward to: bella will be three in one month! her dance recital and ava's dedication will be in early june and easter/spring is just around the corner!

strollers

We have too many but still haven't found the right one for us! It is crazy. We have a stroller for the carrier from when Bella was born. It is big (ugly) and takes up the entire trunk. Then a friend gave us all of her old strollers including a double that is humongous and won't fold unless you take the seats off, a jogging stroller with a bassinet piece for an infant and two umbrella strollers. We love the umbrella strollers but obviously cannot use them for Ava for a while. Right now we have nothing we can use for the both of them. Another friend offered to let me borrow her double stroller that I think would be perfect but our carrier does not fit it and it would be almost $200 to buy a new carseat that would fit it not to mention it is out of stock everywhere right now. We can make do with the one we have in the trunk now assuming we don't need to put Bella in and she can hold on to me if we go somewhere. We have the tiny storage room packed with the jogger that I can only use with one of them and the huge double on the porch- not helping our curb appeal- that I will probably use this summer to take them to the pool and stuff but I think a sit n' stand would be perfect (See here). Hoping to check out some local consignment stores and find one for cheap plus possibly sell one or more of ours to them to make more room for us. If only we had a garage!

can you believe it? february 4th seems like yesterday!

a few more things Bella has said lately that i just don't want to forget:

-I built a tower the other day and she said, "That's pretty cool mommy" and then another time looking at picture of a water fountain, "That's pretty awesome!"
-She tells me everyday things are "Betiful."
-She keeps telling us she wants to ride the train for her birthday and then the other day she said she wants to ride the school bus for her birthday :)
-She gets so excited when her daddy comes home these days that she just screams over and over and the other day he picked her up and she just squished him cheek to cheek and said, "I love you so much daddy!" (hearts melt)
-We told her Nana was going to take her to the store/gas station later and she said, "I forgot my money for Wal-mark!"
-The other day she said, "Mommy, I am going to go hide in the closet. Come find me!"
-She's also been saying that things are hilarious...sounds more like "warious mommy, thats warious."

first interview

Okay, a friend of mine gave me this idea and then I saw it on a parent website. The idea is to interview your child every few months and in the future I plan to video tape it too. So here it is:
