We kicked off the Christmas season with Advent bags and going shopping for a Christmas tree. It was so fun having Ava know what was going on (sort of) this time!
We celebrated with my Dad and that side of the family earlier this year. The day of Thanksgiving my mom and grandma came over for brunch then we headed to the Eich side for dinner! It was a great time. The couple of days following were amazing- having nowhere to be, a house to decorate and a family to relax with. It was five wonderful days of peace. (Then Sunday night, I woke up with a bad sore throat and found out the next day I had strep. Ugh. Second time in this pregnancy and it put a damper on the week, but at least the break went well.)
And this was the only ham we had this Thanksgiving! Well, her and her sister...
In Novmeber!! I wish we had more pictures but... caught the moment anyway. I had to be at my internship that night and Randy had the girls. I was so impressed he got them all bundled up and took them out to see it. He said Bella loved it. Ava could have done without it. I didn't really get to see it but where we live it actually stuck for a bit.
This dog is not ours but she visits us a bunch. Originally Randy wouldn't let us feed her but we soon learned that regardless of whether we gave her food or not, she still came back and hung out with us. I named her Honey. No reason, just liked it and thought it fit. She is pitiful really but we like having her around when we are outside. She is a little older from what I gather, but the girls cannot understand that and cannot figure out why she won't chase the balls they throw at her...
Bella had her first field trip recently at preschool and Randy and I were close to having panic attacks! LOL. It came out of nowhere and I was suddenly signing permission for her to take a bus to another local church for "the Science lady." She didn't think it was as big of a deal but came home with lots of stories and slime. All we wanted to know was how the bus ride was! Anyway, here is a picture of her that morning.
Bella was born on April 14th 2009 to two very proud parents. She is almost seven now! She is still very much in love with her Daddy and gets to spend lots of one-on-one time with him through Y-Guides. She also enjoys golf lessons after school once a week. She is doing well learning Spanish through the SPLASH program at her school where she is in the first grade Spanish Immersion class. She loves to dance and teach her little sister everything she knows!
Ava Hope joined us on the 4th of February 2012. She is quite the character and knows how to make us all laugh. She loves her big sister and misses her when they are apart. Her favorites are Minnie Mouse and Ariel. Everyday she surprises us with her sassy comments and wonderful memory!
Baby number three: Porter Noble came quickly on the 9th of May at 4:44 am. My labor and delivery was all less than an hour! He weighed 8lb 12oz and measured 20in. He is delightful and continues to bring great joy on a daily basis. He is learning and talking more each day and is ALL BOY!
Baby number four joined us on the 18th of January this year. Turner King was 6lbs 12oz, our smallest! He fits into the family perfectly and is very loved by his older sisters and big brother...
As for Randy and I... we met in 2006 at our job. We were southern girl and boy from Buffalo trying to make it work. It didn't take much! We couldn't live without each other and were engaged and married a short eight and eleven months later. The rest is what they call HISTORY and in this case, HER STORY...
